1800 Federal Census for Meck Co, NC
By Ellen V. Poteet
This new transcription of names and enumerations from the original microfilm corrects errors and omissions that are found in a printed computer index widely used by genealogists. Mecklenburg County included present-day Union County, NC, at that time. Each page of the microfilm has been transcribed separately, and the names indexed according to the microfilm page number for easy reference. Modern day spellings of names are cross-referenced.
